Offering devotionals drawn from sermons, personalized devotions for special occasions, encouragement for health and wellness, and inspiration for young people in faith learning.
As far back as I can remember, I have loved words. As a child, I read voraciously, and by junior high, I had fallen deeply in love with both prose and poetry. Encouraged by wonderful teachers along the way, I dreamed of becoming a journalist or a fiction writer.
Over time, that love of language led me to an even deeper love for the Word. Through this site, I offer devotionals inspired by sermons, personalized reflections for meaningful occasions, and thoughtful health and wellness content designed to nurture the whole person.
As a credentialed youth teacher, I also find great joy in encouraging preteens and teens to grow in their love of faith and learning. Over the past eight years, I have collaborated with my sister, Pamela Baker, in creating a full curriculum designed to inspire a love of faith learning, servant leadership, and the practical application of the Word in everyday life.
My hope is to share words that bring comfort, reflection, and care to the heart, mind, body, and spirit. It is my prayer that your time here leaves you with insight, peace, joy, and the gentle reminder that your mind, body, and spirit matter deeply.
